Business Development Peer Groups

Networking Support for Win Without Pitching Firms
Topics: Timely, General

I'm putting interested business development folks (principals and employees) together in online peer groups for the purpose of supporting each other in their business development efforts.

I've crafted a simple survey to get some basic information about participants. I'll use this information to put the right people together based on their level of understanding and application of the WWP principles; the size, nature and location of the firms; and the role of the individuals (putting owners with owners, employees with employees).

I think the optimal number is between four and six participants per group. If you're interested in participating, just answer these questions so that I can find the right group for you. The forum will be through invitation-only groups on LinkedIn. There is no cost to participate.

My role will be to form the groups and set them up on LinkedIn. I plan to monitor the groups for a couple of weeks to make sure everyone is benefiting from them and to see if any additional structure might be beneficial. Then I'll duck out and hand the group ownership over to the members. As peer groups, the intent is for you to help each other. If you're interested in participating just complete this quick survey then I'll be in touch.
