ENTJ: The Evil OverlordMay 20, 2008 at 2:08 pm by Blair More contemplation on the idea of the hard-wiring of individuals that allows them to adopt certain behaviors, or precludes them from it. While poking around on the subject I found this hilarious non-traditional take on Myers Briggs personality types: http://www.xeromag.com/fun/personality.html.
The Jungian-based Myers-Briggs Type Index (MBTI) breaks out four dichotomies (Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving) and types people based on their preferences.
The 16 MBTI personality types listed on the Xero Mag site (Oh my! I just visited the homepage. Do so at your own peril, delight or discretion.) come with some interesting labels and non-traditional descriptions, including...
ENTJ: The Evil Overlord "The ENTJ is best characterized by his charisma, his ability to grasp complex situations... and his overwhelming desire to crush the world beneath his boot..."
ISTP: The Psycho Vigilante "ISTPs often need a great deal of personal space and "alone time," which may give others the impression that they are aloof; in reality, this time is necessary to hide their secret identities..."
ENFJ: The Cult Leader "ENFJs... tend to see the grand scheme of things, and to be able to deduce connections between things that other people miss; these psychological personality traits are the result of the fact that they are the Messiah."
This is worth the read. If you're not sure of your MBTI personality type you can find out in less than five minutes, here. Tags: personnel (2) personality (1) |
